What Paws on Board is

Paws on Board is a membership product that helps dog owners organize their dog's life — travel planning, document preparation, a health record, a passport, and an AI assistant called Ask Copper. Some features are free; some require an All-Access subscription.

Not legal, medical, or veterinary advice

Everything here is informational. Nothing on Paws on Board — including Ask Copper — is legal advice, veterinary advice, or a substitute for a professional. The Service Animal forms we help you fill out are the official DOT forms; completing them through us is a convenience, not a certification, and does not make your dog a service animal or obligate any airline. For medical questions about your dog, talk to your vet. For legal questions, talk to a lawyer.

Ask Copper (our AI)

Ask Copper is an AI assistant. It's genuinely useful and it tries hard to be accurate, but AI can be wrong or out of date. Treat its answers as a helpful starting point, not the final word — and verify anything that matters (especially airline and government requirements) with the real source.

Your account

You need to be at least 16 and able to enter a contract. Keep your login credentials secure and don't share your account. You're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at hello@getpawsonboard.comif you think it's been compromised.

Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

Your content

The things you add — your dog's photo, records, notes, trips — are yours. You keep ownership. You give us a limited license to store and display that content back to you (and, only for the specific things you choose to make public, to the people you share them with) so the product can work. You're responsible for having the right to upload what you upload, and for not uploading anything unlawful or harmful.

The Pack (community) conduct

If you opt your dog into the community directory, keep it kind and honest: a real dog, a real photo you have the right to use, accurate details. We can remove content or remove someone from the community if they misuse it. Opting in is entirely optional and you can opt out at any time.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

Third-party services

Paws on Board relies on providers like Supabase, Stripe, Anthropic, Resend, and Netlify, and links to outside resources (like airline and government pages). We don't control those third parties and aren't responsible for them; their own terms apply.

No warranties

Paws on Board is provided “as is.” We work hard to make it accurate and reliable, but we can't promise it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that following it will produce any particular travel outcome. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Paws on Board and Danny Paskoff won't be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost travel, missed flights, or denied boarding. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law permits.

Indemnification

If your use of Paws on Board or your content causes a claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of defending it, to the extent the law allows.

Ending things

You can stop using Paws on Board and delete your account anytime from your account settings. We may suspend or end an account that violates these terms or the law. The parts of these terms that should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability limits) do.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; we'll change the date above and, when it matters, tell you. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
